Alper Yazici

Music Educator | Classical Guitarist | Music Producer | Founder of Yuzy Music

Alper Yazici is an experienced music educator, classical guitarist, music producer and arranger with more than two decades of experience in music education and performance.

Originally from Turkey and now based in Wimbledon, London, Alper has built his career around helping students of different ages and abilities develop strong musical foundations while discovering their own creativity and confidence.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Education and a Master’s degree in Music Sciences / Musicology from Dokuz Eylul University. His professional teaching career began in 2002 and has included roles at established educational institutions and music schools in Turkey, including TED College, ENKA College, Istanbul International School, MEF Schools and MEF University, as well as ABRSM and LCM examination centres.

Throughout his career, Alper has taught classical and acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, drum kit and music theory, working with children, teenagers and adults. He has also led music departments, directed musical theatre productions, coached rock, jazz and pop bands, and worked with classical music ensembles.

A Complete Approach to Music Education

Alper believes that music education should go beyond simply learning to play an instrument. His lessons combine instrumental technique, music theory, notation, musicianship and practical performance, giving students the skills and confidence to become independent musicians.

Students can follow a structured learning pathway, work towards recognised examinations such as ABRSM, LCM, Trinity College and Rock School, or simply learn music for enjoyment and personal development. Examination preparation is always optional and tailored to each student’s individual goals and progress.

For students interested in contemporary music, Alper also provides opportunities to develop ensemble and band skills, including rock, pop and jazz. His studio sessions allow students to experience collaborative music-making and gain practical experience in a real music-production environment.

From Education to Music Production

Alongside his work as an educator, Alper is a music producer, arranger and audio engineer, bringing professional music-production experience into his teaching.

This combination of traditional musical training and modern music production allows students to explore music from multiple perspectives — from classical guitar and notation to contemporary songwriting, arranging, recording and ensemble performance.

Yuzy Music

In February 2021, Alper founded Yuzy Music LTD, developing a music education platform focused on providing high-quality, personalised music tuition in London and online.

Today, through Yuzy Music, Alper offers individual and group tuition, online lessons, performance opportunities, examination preparation and collaborative studio experiences for students and adults.
